Full Description
Bit2Me is a Spanish cryptocurrency platform and exchange founded in 2014 and operating in more than 100 countries worldwide. The legal entity and headquarters are located in Spain, in the city of Elche (Alicante province).
Cryptocurrency Exchange Bit2Me — What is it?
Bit2Me is a European crypto platform that allows buying, selling, and storing cryptocurrencies, as well as using a wallet, card, staking, and OTC services. The company positions itself as a regulated platform registered with the Bank of Spain as an exchange provider and custodial wallet.
The exchange primarily targets the European and Spanish-speaking markets but claims to operate in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Who Owns This Exchange, and Where is the Headquarters?
Bit2Me is managed by a Spanish company (Bitcoinforme S.L.), registered in Spain. The headquarters is located at Calle Germán Bernácer, 69, Elche, Alicante, Spain.
The platform was founded in 2014 as a crypto service from Spain and later became the first cryptocurrency platform officially recognized by the Bank of Spain.
In Which Countries Does Bit2Me Operate?
The Bit2Me website states that the service operates in more than 100 countries (Europe, America, Asia, Oceania). Among the supported countries are most EU states, as well as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Australia, and others.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Bit2Me
Advantages
- European jurisdiction and registration in the Bank of Spain's provider registry, which increases the level of regulation and compliance requirements.
- More than 410 supported cryptocurrencies, a wide selection of assets for trading and investment.
- Additional services: educational academy, card, OTC servicing, staking, wallet, etc.
- Orientation towards Spanish-speaking and European users, convenient interface in 20 languages.
Disadvantages
- Geographic restrictions: the service is focused on the EU, unavailable in the US and some countries; Russia may also be in the restricted zone.
- Strict KYC/AML verification is required for full access to services.
- According to reviews, commissions and spreads may be higher than those of global "giants" (Binance, OKX, Kraken), especially for large volumes if OTC is not used.

Step-by-Step Registration on Bit2Me
The registration algorithm is typical for European crypto exchanges:
- Go to the official website bit2me.com and click "Sign up".
- Choose an option: log in via Google, Apple, or register with email.
- Enter email, create a password, agree to the terms of use.
- Confirm email by following the link in the email from Bit2Me.
- Specify country of residence and basic personal data (name, surname, date of birth, etc.).
- Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) via an authenticator app — strongly recommended for security reasons.
After basic registration, full KYC verification will be required for fiat operations and higher limits.
Verification
As a licensed provider in the EU, Bit2Me is required to conduct KYC/AML procedures. Verification typically includes:
- Identity confirmation: upload passport or other document (ID card, driver's license, depending on the country).
- "Selfie" check or video identification to match the face with the document.
- Address confirmation: utility bill, bank statement, or other document with address.
After verification approval, access to higher limits, fiat operations, card, and some financial instruments opens up.

Deposits and Withdrawals
Supported methods depend on the country, but Bit2Me generally allows:
- Depositing and withdrawing cryptocurrency to external wallets (deposits and withdrawals via network).
- Depositing and withdrawing euros and other currencies via bank transfer (SEPA for EU).
- Using Visa/Mastercard cards for buying cryptocurrencies (usually deposit only).
The list of available methods for a specific country and account status is displayed in the user's personal cabinet.
Commissions for Deposits and Withdrawals
The commission structure on Bit2Me depends on:
- Asset type (crypto or fiat).
- Selected method (SEPA, card, crypto withdrawal).
- Network load (for cryptocurrencies, network commissions can vary greatly).
Typically:
- Bank SEPA transfer in euros is often free or has a small fixed commission (specified in Bit2Me tariffs).
- Deposit from a bank card incurs a higher processing fee.
- Cryptocurrency withdrawal incurs network commission and possibly a fixed exchange fee.
Current rates are published in the tariffs section on the Bit2Me website and must be checked before the operation.
How P2P Works
Bit2Me's main focus is classic exchange, OTC, and card; an open public P2P platform like Binance's P2P market is not the main product. For large off-exchange trades, Bit2Me's OTC desk is used, where trading occurs directly through the large capital department, not via an open P2P order book between private users.
If Bit2Me introduces a full P2P marketplace, the terms and mechanics will be indicated in the official "OTC / P2P / Earn" section on the website, so official instructions should be reviewed before use.
Bit2Me Token ($B2M)
Bit2Me Token ($B2M) is the utility token of the Bit2Me crypto platform, launched in September 2021 through Spain's largest ICO, which raised about 20 million euros in just a few minutes.
Since launch, $B2M has continuously expanded its functions both within the Bit2Me platform and beyond, providing holders with exclusive benefits and bonuses for holding or using the token.
Today, the entire initial issuance of 5 million tokens is in circulation. The total circulating supply has decreased to 4.95 million due to the burning of 50 thousand tokens from the company's reserves. For a detailed review of the token economics, refer to the official whitepaper.
Advantages of Holding Bit2Me Token ($B2M)
- Commission reduction: Users get discounts up to 100% on commissions for buying, selling, and exchanging cryptocurrencies, as well as up to 50% on PRO-level operations.
- Increased asset yields: Holders can increase profitability of Earn service deposits by an additional 50%.
- Yield on deposit: Token holders can earn up to 20% APY on locked assets in the Earn service.
- Cashback up to 7%: Opportunity to earn up to 7% cashback on all Debit card purchases using cryptocurrencies.
- Early access to new services: Early access to services like Earn, Card, and Loan before official launch.
- Special discounts: Free physical Card issuance and discount on Web3MBA program training.
- Priority for new projects: More $B2M gives priority access to new projects on the Launchpad platform, including tokens like LMWR and GFAL.
- Exclusive communication and events: Regular live streams and closed meetings specifically for $B2M holders.

Staking
Bit2Me offers staking and income products for a number of cryptocurrencies through its service (e.g., in asset management and wealth-management context). The client locks specific coins/tokens on the platform and receives income in the form of interest; the size and terms depend on the specific asset and program.
Yield rates, lock-up periods, supported assets, and staking risks are published in the personal cabinet and Bit2Me documentation and must be checked before participation.

Trading Commissions
Trading commissions on Bit2Me depend on the order type, trading volume, and specific product (spot, OTC, etc.). On the spot market, the maker/taker model is typically used:
- Maker commission — for orders that add liquidity to the order book.
- Taker commission — for orders that take it.
Exact percentages and possible discount levels (depending on trading volume or holding B2M token) are indicated in Bit2Me's official commission table and updated periodically, so they should be reviewed on the site before starting active trading.
Bit2Me vs Binance
Bit2Me and Binance belong to different types of crypto platforms. Binance is a global exchange with a large selection of trading tools, high liquidity, and a developed derivatives market. Bit2Me is more focused on users from Europe, especially those who value buying cryptocurrency with euros, a clear interface, local support, and operation within a regulated European environment.
For active trading, Binance usually looks stronger. The exchange offers more trading pairs, higher trading volumes, and more tools for spot trading, futures, margin trading, staking, P2P, and additional crypto products. This makes Binance convenient for users who trade frequently, use limit orders, work with different networks, and want to quickly switch between a large number of assets.
Bit2Me looks more attractive in a different scenario: when the user needs not the most complex exchange, but a clear service for buying, storing, and selling cryptocurrency. The platform focuses on European jurisdiction, euro support, an easy entry point for beginners, and additional products such as Bit2Me Wallet, Bit2Me Card, Bit2Me Earn, and Bit2Me Academy. For a user from the EU, this may be more important than access to the widest possible set of professional trading tools.
The main difference between Bit2Me and Binance is scale and focus. Binance is suitable for those looking for maximum liquidity, low trading fees, and advanced trading functionality. Bit2Me is better suited for those who want to use cryptocurrency through a European platform with a clear interface, fiat support, and a more local approach to customer service.
When choosing between Bit2Me and Binance, several factors should be considered:
- if you need active trading, futures, and a large number of coins, Binance is usually the preferred choice;
- if European jurisdiction, euro transactions, and simple crypto purchases are important, Bit2Me may be more convenient;
- if the user is a beginner, Bit2Me may be easier for a first introduction to cryptocurrency;
- if the user already trades on the market and uses advanced orders, Binance usually offers more options;
- if Spanish-language support and a European focus are important, Bit2Me looks stronger;
- if market depth and global liquidity are important, Binance has the advantage.
| Criterion | Bit2Me | Binance |
|---|---|---|
| Main focus | Europe, euro, easy entry into crypto | Global trading ecosystem |
| For beginners | Convenient | May be more complex |
| For traders | Basic and advanced trading | More tools |
| Fiat transactions | Strong focus on EUR | Many currencies, depends on the country |
| Liquidity | Lower than the largest exchanges | Very high |
| Regulatory focus | European jurisdiction | Depends on the region |
| Best suited for | Beginners and EU users | Active traders and experienced users |
Conclusion: Binance is stronger for active trading, a large selection of assets, and professional tools. Bit2Me is more interesting for users who need a European crypto platform with straightforward crypto purchases in euros, local support, and a less overloaded interface.
Bit2Me vs Coinbase
Bit2Me and Coinbase are similar in that both platforms are aimed not only at traders, but also at regular users who want to buy, sell, and store cryptocurrency without a complex interface. At the same time, Coinbase is a larger international platform with a strong brand in the United States and Europe, while Bit2Me is a European crypto exchange with a clear focus on Spain, euros, and EU users.
Coinbase is often chosen for its simplicity, reputation, and clear user experience. The platform is well suited for beginners: buying cryptocurrency, storing assets, recurring purchases, and basic portfolio management are implemented in a very simple way. For more experienced users, there is Coinbase Advanced — a separate trading interface with advanced charts, order types, and a more flexible fee model.
Bit2Me also focuses on simplicity, but stands out with a more local European approach. For users from Spain and other EU countries, important advantages may include euro support, a focus on the local market, educational materials from Bit2Me Academy, the Bit2Me Card, and additional services within a single ecosystem. Bit2Me may be more convenient for those who want to use cryptocurrency as part of everyday financial operations, not only to buy assets for long-term storage.
In terms of fees, Coinbase is often perceived as not the cheapest option for simple cryptocurrency purchases, especially if the user does not use the advanced trading interface. Bit2Me may also be more expensive than major global exchanges for basic buy and sell operations, so before making a transaction it is important to check the final amount, spread, payment method, and fee for the specific product. For active trading, it is better to compare Bit2Me Pro and Coinbase Advanced rather than the basic one-click purchase forms.
The main difference between Bit2Me and Coinbase is geography and positioning. Coinbase is a large international platform with a strong reputation, a simple interface, and developed infrastructure. Bit2Me is a more niche European service that may feel closer to EU users thanks to euro support, local focus, and Spanish origin.
When choosing between Bit2Me and Coinbase, it is worth considering:
- Coinbase is convenient for those who want to use a large international platform with a simple interface;
- Bit2Me may be more convenient for users from Spain and the EU who value euros, European jurisdiction, and local support;
- both platforms are suitable for long-term buying and holding, but fees should be checked before each transaction;
- for active trading, it is better to compare Bit2Me Pro and Coinbase Advanced;
- Coinbase is stronger in terms of international brand recognition;
- Bit2Me may be clearer for users who need a European crypto service without an overloaded interface.
| Criterion | Bit2Me | Coinbase |
|---|---|---|
| Main focus | European crypto service | International crypto platform |
| Geography | Strong focus on Spain and the EU | United States, Europe, and other markets |
| For beginners | Convenient | Very convenient |
| Advanced trading | Bit2Me Pro | Coinbase Advanced |
| Fiat transactions | Focus on EUR | Depends on the country and payment method |
| Education | Bit2Me Academy | Coinbase educational materials |
| Best suited for | EU users | Beginners and mainstream investors |
Conclusion: Coinbase is better suited for those looking for a large international platform with a simple interface and strong brand recognition. Bit2Me may be a more logical choice for users in Europe who value euro transactions, the European regulatory context, local support, and a single ecosystem for buying, storing, and everyday use of cryptocurrency.

I made a mistake with a bank transfer and was honestly worried that the money was gone. I contacted Bit2Me support and expected a slow answer, but they replied faster than I thought. The support agent explained what happened and helped me fix the issue. I was nervous at first, but in the end it was a good experience. It is nice when a crypto company does not leave you alone with your problem.

I started using Bit2Me because I wanted something simple, not a crazy trading platform with too many buttons. The app was easy to understand from the first day. I bought a small amount of Bitcoin and Ethereum, and everything worked without stress. Verification took a bit of time, but after that the experience was smooth. For beginners in Europe, I think it is a good option.
